Another user on channel is bothering me; is there anything that I can do about it?
If someone on IRC is giving you a bad time for what ever reason you have several excellent options for dealing with the problem. Your first and best option is IRC's /IGNORE command. This exquisite little gem is IRC's finest defensive tool. Learn about the /IGNORE command. You cannot truly master IRC until you have mastered /IGNORE. This is effective defense even if you are harassed by someone with multiple nicknames or Internet addresses. There is a finite number of nicknames or Internet addresses that a harassing user can have, but there is no limit to the number of /IGNOREs you may have. If you have a problem that you think cannot be solved through the use of IRC's /IGNORE command, then you should make an IRC log of the problem and send it ASAP to brett@troubledog.com. It will be dealt with. Please be sure the subject of your email clearly indicates that you want to talk about IRC channel #Babylon5 so I don't mistake your email message for incoming spam.

How do I find EFnet IRC channel #Babylon5?
First, you'll need access to the Internet. Once you've got that, you'll need to use an IRC client (application) to connect to an EFnet irc server. Once you have your client application started, then you'll then need to connect it to an EFnet irc server. This command takes the form:

For example:

/server irc.Blackened.COM
or
/server irc.prison.net
