How do I find EFnet IRC channel #Babylon5?
First, you'll need access to the Internet. Once you've got that, you'll need to use an IRC client (application) to connect to an EFnet irc server. UNIX users can normally just type 'irc' at their shell prompt to use the ircII client. Windows users can use a client like mIRC. There are client applications for other platforms as well.
